Student 2 Student® (S2S™) is a high school level student program that brings military and civilian students together to welcome new students, create a positive environment, support academic excellence, and ease transitions.
Our Junior Student 2 Student® (JS2S™) program, designed with the middle school student in mind, provides all that the high school teams do, but on an age appropriate level.
Elementary Student 2 Student™ (eS2S™) is designed to increase awareness of and address school transitions affecting mobile elementary school students through a faculty-led and student-engaged model.
Gregory Jefferson is a friendly and kind kid. He understand and knows how hard his father works in the military and is proud to call his dad a hero. Being a slow learner, it has caused him to struggle in academics,but with his persistence he can become accustomed to many surroundings.
Sergeant Andrew Jefferson is a strong-willed father who will do anything to make sure a bright future for his family is insured. After being transferred to several states in a short amount of time, he worries how his family will be affected.
Being a leader in the Student 2 Student program, Jason Schmidt, a service-connected kid, is a sympathetic and generous kid who wants to help those who struggle from the difficulties of being a military child.
Recently graduating from basic training, Private Wood is a dedicated soldier who works closely with the First Sergeant as his secretary. Her dream is to become a Command Sergeant Major so she will do everything within her power to move up the ranks.
Ms. Albright has been a high school math teacher for the last 2 years. She enjoys and loves what she does, but with the restrictions that the school system sets on her, she wants to do what ever she can in order for her students to succeed.
MCEC is a non-profit organization that helps military-connected children have the resources in school and out of school in order to help them with the difficulties that come with their parents being transferred to different states.
